Voice Strain and Tension
One of the main things students come to me for is help with strain and tension. These vocal issues will undermine your confidence all the time. Thankfully, I have been on this long journey, including having an operation for a cyst on my left vocal cord. I'm still here to sing the tale! It is not easy. It is not pretty. But you CAN fix these problems with some attention to detail.
Improving Your Singing Voice
Singers often throw themselves into singing, without understanding what is going on and how we even produce sound. It's all instinctive and built on emotion and just trying to hit the notes. Proper voice training means treating it like an instrument. It means understanding how it works, using scales and exercises , weird and whacky noises, not only singing songs.
Song-Writing and Musicianship
My sessions help fellow musicians with their song-writing and creative goals, performance and delivery or whatever it is you are trying to improve about your craft aside from vocal technique. I work on the whole package with my students and look to make incremental improvements based on your needs and personal aims within music.
